This Proverb is foundational to how we approach our work at McClung’s. Daily, we submit to Jesus’ leadership for why and how we do what we do. Our faith impacts how we interact as a team, how we engage customers, and the work we produce. Everything that happens at McClung’s is an offering back to Him.

We put the same care into assembling our team as we do with each of our customer’s orders. Here are the people that make McClung’s a great company to work for and with.
Growing from deep roots
McClung's was first established in 1913 in the former Wagon Works building on East 7th Street as a supplier of hay, livestock feed, wood for heating and cooking, coal, and an inoculum for chicken cholera. Through the years, the business became a supplier of building materials, opening stores in Vinton and Christiansburg, in addition to the Salem store. In the early 90's the company shifted focus to exclusively custom millwork and have been operating in the current facility on South Market Street, across the street from the original mill, since the mid 80's.
